Nuances of expressions

In illustration, the difference between an angry looking child and a child with a neutral expression can be a slight tilt of the eyebrow or a curve of the lip. The further away you go from 'cartoon-ish' styles, the more these nuances of expressions matter. Facial expression sets the tone for so much, it is worth taking our time to get it right!
